   Anything pertaining to high school football in Alabama


We currently have no way of housing the items in a public location so they are not available for public viewing. Many of the items are still in print or can be obtained. If you have interest in obtaining a copy of one of the items we may be able to guide you to the source. Someday we may have a place to display the items.

101 1999 AHSAA Record Book
  The third edition of a book produced by the AHSAA. It includes many historical records of all the sports played by member high schools.
 
102 West Point Warrior Football Review
  Written by Darrell Brock, the book contains much of the history of West Point from1964-1984. It also includes a list of coaches with photos, team records, season reviews and a list of players honors.
 
103 The Fighting Wildcats
  The complete history of the DeKalb County/ Fort Payne Wildcat Football Teams 1922-2006. Written by Larry Hancock the book chronicles the history of Fort Payne football. It includes team records, coaching records, season reviews, stats and reviews of all playoff games, games to remember, team photos and players honors. It is a very complete book with every game accounted for by the author.
 
104 1955 The Year of the Bulldogs
  Written by Roy Ward this is a well done book about the 1955 Hanceville Bulldogs team. It is the only book I am aware of that chronicles a single season for a team. It is very interesting reading and includes many interviews with players from the team as well as the coaches. Many color photos and biographies are also included.
 
105 1988 All-Star Classic Football Program
  A program from the first annual Alabama vs. Mississippi football game. It includes player profiles and rosters.
 
106 1998 Football Illustrated
  A magazine produced by Collegiate Sports Partners that covered AHSAA and AISA schools for the 1998 season. Each team is included with outlooks for the upcoming 1998 season with players to watch and a list of all the coaches and assistants for each team. It also has schedules and scores from the 1997 season.
 
107 1999 Football Illustrated
  A magazine produced by Collegiate Sports Partners that covered AHSAA and AISA schools for the 1999 season. Each team is included with outlooks for the upcoming 1999 season with players to watch and a list of all the coaches and assistants for each team. It also has schedules and scores from the 1998 season.
 
108 Tales From Alabama Prep Football
  The 2006 book written by Ron Ingram and Rubin Grant is the best single book chronicling the history of high school football in the state.
 
109 Fairhope High School Sports
  The Eastern Shore Athletics Association put this book together in 1983 that includes all time team rosters, season records and many scores of games back to 1932. It also has a team profile and player profiles for the 1983 season.
 
110 1984 Theodore Bobcats
  This booklet includes player and coaches profiles for the upcoming 1984 season. It also includes team and individual records and scores back to 1952, Theodore's first season to play 11 man football.
 
111 Foley High School Football Season
  A collection of 8 booklets produced the Coach Lester Smith and the school. The booklets were produced annually from 1974-1983. They include player and coaches profiles for each season, team and individual records and scores for all the games back to 1924.
 
112 1976 Oil Bowl Program
  A program from the 1976 Oil Bowl in Citronelle played between Foley and East Central MS.
 
113 Mobile Press Register season previews. 1981-2007
  Every season preview produced by the Mobile Press Register since 1981. Missing a few in the early 1990s.
 
114 Back To The Basics: Winning Is More Than X's and O's
  An excellent book written in 2008 by legendary high school football coach John Meadows. Written with Doug Styles, the book is much more than just how to win on the field. Coach Meadows uses his personal experiences throughout the book to convey his thoughts and ideas about the game of football.
 
115 DVD of the 1956 Woodlawn vs. West End game.
  Woodlawn won 46-7 and went on the win the State Championship in 1956.
 
116 DVD of the 1962 Sweet Water vs. Thomasville game.
  A full game video provided by Andy Etheridge.
 
117 A History of Hamilton Aggie Football.
  A book by Roger Ellis detailing the history of Hamilton football. One of the best high school history books out there, very well done. The book was published in 2006.
 
118 One Thousand Men The History of Colbert County High School Football.
  A book by Mike Walker that is very comprehensive in completing the history of one of the winningest programs in Alabama history. The book has scores and recaps on each season with many team photos included. The book was published in 1995.
 
119 AHSAA Fall Sports Books
  Every Fall Sports Book from 1980-2010. The books have schedules and coaches for each team.
 
120 AHSAA Directories
  1976-77, 1989-90, 1992-93, 1993-94, 1994-95, 1996-97, 1998-99, 1999-2000, 2001-02, 2005-06, 2008-09. The books contain a directory of each school with coaches for all sports.
